Schumacher Lincoln of Delray carries a range of of luxurious and versatile new Lincoln SUVs for sale. You may remember our previous overviews of the 2019 Lincoln MKC and the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. This month, we wrap up our 3-part series with a showcase of the 2019 Lincoln Navigator.

Last But Definitely Not Least: The 2019 Lincoln Navigator

The new Lincoln Navigator is the largest of the 3 SUVs, seating 7 instead of 5. It delivers on design, performance, and technology in dramatic ways.

Design

Everything about the appearance of the Navigator says it wants to be seen. The Approach Detection makes the vehicle’s side mirrors, door handles, and headlamps light up as you come close to it with your key fob in hand, lighting the way to your new favorite mode of transportation. The available LED-illuminated Lincoln Star logo also lights up as you approach and stays lit as your drive, centered on the Navigator’s new illuminated grille.

Inside, comfort is sewn into every seat with considerable second-row legroom and Available Perfect Position Seat with Active Motion® massage. This feature molds to your body to make the seat as comfortable as possible. It also allows you to decide if you want heating, cooling, or independent thigh extenders for full comfort and luxury.

Performance

With a 450-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.5L engine, the Navigator is full of power. It is also full of variety. There are 6 distinct driving modes ranging from Conserve to Excite, in which each selection adjusts the settings of your SUV to make it fit for the road ahead. The Navigator also has a 10-speed SelectShift® transmission for controlled positions from one powerful setting to the next.

Like the Nautilus, the Navigator has Auto Hold and adaptive steering, along with adaptive suspension, like all 3 of the Lincoln SUVs.

This large powerhouse of an SUV also has heavy duty towing ability when equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package®. Transport substantial loads with electronic traction assist and torque.

Technology

Like the other Lincoln SUVs, the 2019 Navigator has Adaptive Cruise Control, a Revel® Ultima® Audio System, and Lincoln Connect™. There is also wireless charging, with 6 USB ports and 5 other outlets throughout the car, so that every passenger can have full access to device charging capabilities.

Sync® AppLink® is used in the Navigator to make navigation simpler, similar to the Nautilus. The Navigator, however, is unique when it comes to its personal profiles and Head-Up Display.

Up to 3 personal profiles can be saved in the Navigator’s system, complete with feature preferences for each individual driver. Set preferences include seat, mirror, and pedal positions, audio settings, and climate control, all of which alter themselves and adjust to the driver approaching the vehicle, detectable with key fob in hand.

A Head-Up Display creates a personalized driving experience in an easy line of sight. The display can be visible in ambient lighting, and you can decide what the screen shows you, whether it be standard driving information or adaptive cruise control settings.

The Navigator has some driver-assist technologies similar to the MKC and Nautilus, and some unique to the Navigator. These features include:

  • Enhanced Active Park Assist
  • Lane-Keeping System
  • 360-Degree Camera
  • Forward and Reverse Sensing
