From compact to full-size, Schumacher Lincoln of Delray stocks a variety of new Lincoln SUVs for sale that caters to a wide range of drivers. You may remember our overview of the 2019 Lincoln MKC last month. This month, we take a closer look at the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, Lincoln’s all-new midsize luxury SUV.

Introducing the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus

The new Lincoln Nautilus allows even more roominess in its backseat, but it still seats 5 passengers, like the MKC. It is a good fit for those that fall in the middle of the three Lincoln luxury SUVs, offering some more options, but the same consistent Lincoln quality.

Design

Like the MKC, the Nautilus has seats made with available, class-exclusive Bridge of Weir Deepsoft™ leather. The front seats have standard Comfort power, including heating, ventilation, and even settings to remember such preferences in 3 distinct passenger profiles. The 2019 Nautilus takes it one more step further with available Ultra-Comfort front seats with Active Motion, which uses 11 air cushions to massage and decrease any aches while you drive. The Nautilus allows you to stay focused on driving, equipping you for whatever lies ahead.

The Nautilus’ LED Multi-Projector headlamps bring in more light to give clarity to the roads you drive. The lenses of the lights can shift positions to widen or narrow the amount of light brought to the road, allowing your eyes to see exactly what is necessary.

The Nautilus also brings light inside the vehicle with ambient lighting lining the inside of the vehicle’s doors. This light comes with 7 colors to choose from, so the light can always fit your mood. From the inside out, the Nautilus’ Panoramic Vista Roof® is wide, expanding to cover both front and back seats of the SUV. Every passenger can take advantage of letting the outside air in.

Performance

The Nautilus has a twin-turbocharged 2.7L V6 engine with 335-horsepower and an 8-speed SelectShift® transmission for more power, yet also more control with available intelligent all wheel drive (AWD).

This model has the same 3 driving modes as the MKC, showing Lincoln’s dedication to making your driving experience whatever you want it to be. It also uses adaptive steering and Auto Hold so that you can do a little less while you drive. Adaptive steering responds to your amount of steering and your vehicle’s speed to decide how firm steering should be for the given road. Auto Hold lets you do less when it comes to braking at long traffic lights, for example. When you take your foot off the brake, Auto Hold will hold and then release the brakes once you push your accelerator.

Technology

Like the 2019 MKC, Lincoln Connect™ makes technology easy and safe to use in your SUV. The Nautilus also has Sync®, which can speak navigation directions to you while you drive, which you can also see on your 12.3” LCD driver information screen. Additionally, the Nautilus has standard wireless charging for your phone. Place your phone on the charging dock, and let your Nautilus do the rest for you.

This model has a few options when it comes to music, so that you can choose what best suits your preferences. One is the 13-speaker Revel® Audio System and the next available option is the impressive 19-speaker Revel Ultima® System with 3 unique sound modes — Stereo, Audience, and Onstage — so that your music experience becomes exactly what you want it to be.

In the Nautilus, driver assist technologies combine to create the Lincoln Co-Pilot 360™, which includes:

  • Blind Spot Detection
  • Cross-Traffic Alert
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Lane-Keeping System
  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Rear View Camera with washing system
  • Enhanced Active Park Assist
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
